Below are pictures of the newly improved (optional) Additional Rear Room (ARR) which zips onto the back of the 12 foot trailer top tent (TTT), as well as some pictures of the new 7 foot TTT's (with annex attached).  I have not had a chance to update the various pictures yet, so ignore any with the old square shape ARR, or the new shape with only 1 window.  All new ARR's will have 3 windows.  Other improvements in the latest model of TTT include D rings at the bottom of the doors (so the tent can be locked), higher roof peak (2.7m high), zips in the bedside partition area for the passage of electrical cords, and an inner spring mattress.

Buyers Beware!!!  Not all canvas is created equal!  When purchasing a tent it is an extremely good idea to feel and look at the canvas first.  The 13oz rip-stop canvas that I use is heavier than many that claim to be 14oz and greater.  Also, the size of the squares in the canvas indicates the quality of the rip-stop - mine are very small, (which is high quality)!

Several canvas experts have personally inspected the canvas I use in my tents and confirmed its quality - not that I didn't already know, as I have comprehensively tested my tents in our very own Tasmanian gale force winds and torrential rain storms - and the canvas was more than adequate.  The quality of my 13oz rip-stop canvas is certainly more than good enough to combat any weather conditions.  A helpful indication, (but still nowhere near as good as personally inspecting the canvas), is to look at what the tent packs down to - if it fits under a tiny travel cover, chances are the canvas is very thin and light weight, not to mention the fact that there is no room under the cover for bedding, etc.

When 'shopping around' please also compare the strength and quality of the poles that I use, and read the 'Features' and 'Pictures' sections on this webpage.  The brand of tent that I use is my own unique 'Camper's Delight' brand, with many built-in features not found elsewhere.  When camping, these features make a huge difference to your camping pleasure, particularly in bad weather.

In the picture above, the fully detachable annex is on the front (LHS), the tent is in the middle, and (optional) additional rear room is on the back (RHS).  The tent and rear room both have floors sewn into them, and the annex has a floor which velcroes in.  All floors are fully water tight.  To setup this entire package up takes 2 people approximately 30-35 minutes.  If you were only staying somewhere for a short time, you would only bother setting up just the tent on its own - this takes 2 people literally 5 minutes.  We are more than happy to do live setup demonstrations where we teach people exactly how to set everything up so easily.
