The new Ute Back Tent (UBT) is here!!!
The design and features are identical to our current Trailer Top Tents (TTT) except for the following:
- The UBT is able to be opened out of either the end or side of the vehicle;
- There is provision to put full annexes on BOTH sides of the UBT (& the annexes will be slightly larger); &
- The UBT bed base dimensions are 195 x 195cm, and 135cm off the ground.
Underneath the UBT are storage compartments, kitchen, etc. There is also provision to attach 4 legs (either mechanical or electrical) so the vehicle can be driven away if desired, leaving the UBT (and storage underneath) all setup without the vehicle.
Like the TTT, the UBT can be purchased singularly, or as part of a UBT setup which will fit on the back of any ute, regardless of whether it is a 2WD or 4WD, flat tray or well-sided (ie tub) ute, single cab, dual cab, or anything in between. The price for a UBT starts at $2,400 and a full setup will range from between $5,000 to $11,000, based on the combination of kitchen and storage that you choose. |
